This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers. If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and truth.

ABOUT PROYECTO COMPASIÓN.
Proyecto Compasión is a non-profit humanitarian organization working according to Christian principles to help orphans and needy children in Mexico's northwest states of Sonora and Sinaloa.
The organization is 100% dependent on donations from private individuals, businesses and churches, without which we would not be able to serve His needy children.
We are an all volunteer organization, thus we have no paid employees. Volunteers are not reimbursed for meals or mileage when they driver their personal vehicle to Mexico on Proyecto Compasión business. The organization does not own vehicles.
The only "operating expense" the organization incurs is for printing of letterhead and envelops used to acknowledge your donations, to print periodic newsletters and postcards we send to you to keep you informed about the work of the organization, for postage, and bank charges.
An analysis of Proyecto Compasión's finances consistently show that 95% of donations received are used as a direct benefit to the needy children we serve.
Thus, when you donate to Proyecto Compasión, rather than a significant part of your donation being consumed by a bulky bureaucracy, you can be assured that your donation is really reaching the children you chose to help.
The IRS (Internal Revenue Service) has granted Proyecto Compasión 501(c)3 status, meaning that your donations are tax deductible.
Proyecto Compasión is incorporated in Arizona as a "Non-profit" under the authority of the Arizona Corporation Commission.
